I got a new sewing machine yesterday. I'm getting really good at the seam ripper today!!!

A few shots from a wonderful week. We stayed in a home on 9 acres that included a trail straight down to the ocean. People and dogs alike had a great time.

Applesauce

My first attempt at canning applesauce. Crisp, sweet apples always remind me of the beginning of fall. Although it was nearly a 100 degrees outside again today so the kitchen became rather warm while cooking the applesauce. One taste made it totally worth it.
